What’s the best way to get around Monterrey?
You can catch the light rail. There are two lines, one which travels east to west and one that travels north to south. Both lines intersect at Cuauhtémoc Station, so this is the place to make transfers. There are also several bus lines you can take, but make sure you know the name of your stop before you get on board as a lot of drivers won’t be fluent in English. Taxis are also a good option, but a lot of drivers don’t use the meters. If this is the case, agree a price before you set off.

Prepare for long, warm summers, with temperatures averaging about 35°C (95°F). The winter months are cooler at about 15°C (60°F), and it tends to be slightly cloudy and overcast all year.
